Bamboozled with settings and menus on your Smart TV? It can feel overwhelming!
Despite the excitement of plugging in your shiny new Smart TV, the gloss can soon wear off when faced with what feel
like endless menus and settings to navigate. Perhaps you've ordered your new Smart TV online it's arrived and, with a
sense of bravado, you hit that power button but soon realise you're out of your depth. You've no customer support from a
highstreet retailer and suddenly you feel a little distraught - you just want to watch TV!
Although most new TVs will take you step by step through the set-up process it's quite easy to get confused and press
the wrong button and accidentally halt the set-up process. Or maybe you just cannot connect the TV to your wifi? Again with
so many confusing characters to find and press, upper and lower case letters, all while pointing the remote at the screen
it can be frustrating if it just won't work.
Or perhaps you've pressed some buttons on your remote, lost your picture and don't know how to get it back. This we call
"finger trouble" and can often be a fairly simple solution but without seeing what is actually being displayed and what is
connected to your TV it's difficult to instruct without a visit to see first hand.
Want to use catch up TV or streaming apps like BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Netflix, Disney+ but don't know how to access them or sign-in?
